On June 2, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) in Washington, D.C. facilitated a virtual meeting between representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, and Northeastern University to discuss opportunities for academic and research collaboration.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for both institutions to exchange information about their academic programs, research priorities, and areas of expertise. Discussions focused on exploring potential avenues for cooperation in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, innovation, graduate education, faculty and student exchange, and joint research initiatives.

Participants also discussed opportunities to build sustainable partnerships that would support scientific advancement, foster international collaboration, and provide enhanced educational and research opportunities for students and faculty members.

The meeting reflects the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau’s ongoing commitment to strengthening ties between Egyptian and U.S. higher education institutions and promoting impactful international partnerships in education, research, and innovation.

قام المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن يوم ٢ يونيو ٢٠٢٦ بتنسيق اجتماع افتراضي بين ممثلي كلية الصيدلة بجامعة القاهرةوجامعة نورث إيسترن، وذلك لبحث فرص التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي بين المؤسستين.

وأتاح الاجتماع الفرصة للتعريف بالبرامج الأكاديمية والأنشطة البحثية وأولويات كل مؤسسة، كما تناول مناقشة عدد من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما في ذلك العلوم الصيدلية، والبحوث السريرية، والابتكار، والدراسات العليا، وتبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، والمشروعات البحثية المشتركة.

كما ناقش المشاركون سبل بناء شراكة مستدامة تسهم في دعم التميز العلمي وتعزيز التعاون الدولي وتوفير فرص تعليمية وبحثية متميزة للطلاب والباحثين من الجانبين.

ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار جهود المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن لتعزيز التعاون بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي المصرية والأمريكية ودعم الشراكات الدولية في مجالات التعليم والبحث العلمي والابتكار.
