On August 21, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) facilitated a meeting between Auburn University and Capital University (formerly Helwan University) to explore potential areas of academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to introduce their academic strengths and priorities and to discuss potential frameworks for cooperation. The discussions explored opportunities for academic and research collaboration, faculty and student exchange, joint programs and initiatives, capacity building, and other areas of mutual interest.

The meeting represents an important first step toward establishing institutional links between the two universities and identifying concrete opportunities that can be developed into sustainable partnerships.

في ٢١ أغسطس ٢٠٢٦، قام المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن بتنسيق اجتماع بين جامعة أوبورن (Auburn University)وجامعة العاصمة (جامعة حلوان سابقًا)، لبحث فرص ومجالات التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي المحتملة بين الجامعتين.

أتاح الاجتماع الفرصة للجانبين لاستعراض أبرز الإمكانات والأولويات الأكاديمية، ومناقشة الأطر المحتملة للتعاون. كما تناولت المناقشات فرص التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي، وتبادل أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب، وتطوير البرامج والمبادرات المشتركة، وبناء القدرات، وغيرها من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

ويمثل هذا اللقاء خطوة أولى مهمة نحو بناء روابط مؤسسية بين الجامعتين وتحديد فرص عملية يمكن تطويرها إلى شراكات أكاديمية مستدامة.
