On September 4, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) held a follow-up meeting with Amideast to discuss the next steps and coordination for the upcoming “Medicine, Care, and Culture in Egypt” program, planned to take place in Egypt in Summer 2027.

The program is designed as a short-term professional learning experience for "higher education faculty, administrators, and practitioners", providing participants with opportunities to engage directly with Egyptian healthcare professionals and educators and gain insight into healthcare education and practice in Egypt.

The proposed experience will include visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare settings in Cairo, with a strong emphasis on meaningful professional exchange and learning from Egyptian counterparts.

During the meeting, ECEB and Amideast discussed the steps required to support the program’s implementation and facilitate connections with relevant Egyptian institutions and professionals, helping create a rich academic, professional, and cultural experience for the participating U.S. delegation.

في ٤ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٦، عقد المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن اجتماعًا مع Amideast لمناقشة الخطوات القادمة والترتيبات الخاصة ببرنامج “Medicine, Care, and Culture in Egypt – الطب والرعاية والثقافة في مصر”، والمقرر تنفيذه في مصر خلال صيف ٢٠٢٧.

يقدم البرنامج تجربة تعليمية ومهنية قصيرة المدى تستهدف أعضاء هيئة التدريس والقيادات والعاملين بمؤسسات التعليم العالي والممارسين، ويتيح للمشاركين فرصة التواصل المباشر مع المتخصصين والعاملين في مجالات الرعاية الصحية والتعليم في مصر، والتعرف عن قرب على منظومة التعليم والممارسة الصحية المصرية.

ويتضمن البرنامج المقترح زيارات إلى المستشفيات والعيادات والصيدليات وغيرها من مؤسسات الرعاية الصحية في القاهرة، مع التركيز على تبادل الخبرات والتعلم المباشر من المتخصصين المصريين.

وناقش المكتب وAmideast خلال الاجتماع الخطوات اللازمة لدعم تنفيذ البرنامج وتيسير التواصل مع المؤسسات واخبراء المصريين المعنيين، بما يسهم في تقديم تجربة أكاديمية ومهنية وثقافية متكاملة للمشاركين من الولايات المتحدة.
