On September 9, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) held a meeting with the University of Chicago to explore potential opportunities for academic and research collaboration with Egyptian higher education and research institutions.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on areas of mutual interest and discuss potential pathways for cooperation, including joint research, academic programs, faculty and student engagement, capacity building, and other collaborative initiatives that could connect the University of Chicago’s academic and research expertise with Egyptian institutions.

The discussion also focused on identifying appropriate mechanisms for establishing institutional connections and developing areas of cooperation that can evolve into sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.

في ٩ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٦، عقد المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن اجتماعًا مع جامعة شيكاغو (University of Chicago) لبحث فرص التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي المحتملة مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي المصرية.

أتاح اللقاء فرصة لتبادل الرؤى حول المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، ومناقشة عدد من مسارات التعاون المحتملة، بما في ذلك البحث العلمي المشترك، والبرامج الأكاديمية، ومشاركة وتبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وبناء القدرات، وغيرها من المبادرات التعاونيةالتي يمكن من خلالها ربط الخبرات الأكاديمية والبحثية لجامعة شيكاغو بالمؤسسات المصرية.

كما تناولت المناقشات سبل تحديد الآليات المناسبة لبناء روابط مؤسسية وتطوير مجالات تعاون يمكن البناء عليها للوصول إلى شراكات مستدامة تحقق المصالح المشتركة.
