On September 10, 2026, the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB) facilitated a meeting between Port Said University and Northeastern University to explore potential areas of academic and research collaboration.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to present their academic and research strengths and identify areas of mutual interest. Discussions explored potential cooperation in joint research, academic programs, faculty and student mobility, capacity building, and other collaborative initiatives.

في ١٠ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٦، قام المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن بتنسيق اجتماع بين جامعة بورسعيد وجامعة نورث إيسترن (Northeastern University) لبحث فرص التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي المحتملة بين الجانبين.

أتاح اللقاء للجامعتين فرصة استعراض إمكاناتهما الأكاديمية والبحثية وتحديد المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. وتناولت المناقشات فرص البحث العلمي المشترك، والبرامج الأكاديمية، وتبادل الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وبناء القدرات، وغيرها من المبادرات التعاونية.
