The Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB), in collaboration with "Things to Do in DC", hosted an exciting cultural evening that invited guests to discover Egypt differently—through personal stories, immersive technology, authentic Egyptian cuisine, music, and dance.

The evening began with "Joe Morris", an American banker whose love for Egypt has spanned more than 30 years. Through his personal experiences and reflections, guests discovered Egypt through American eyes and heard the story of a connection with the country, its people, and its culture that has grown over three decades.

Guests then embarked on an immersive experience of the "Holy Family’s Journey" through Egypt, presented by Blessed Egypt, bringing together history, spirituality, heritage, and technology engagingly and innovatively.

The Egyptian experience continued through taste and performance, with delicious Egyptian food prepared with love by "Sherin Kitchen", followed by a vibrant dance performance by Mohamed Aly.

A highlight of the evening was a special raffle for an EgyptAir ticket, allowing one lucky guest to take the experience beyond the evening and fly to Egypt to discover the country firsthand.

نظم المكتب الثقافي والتعليمي المصري بواشنطن، بالتعاون مع Things to Do in DC"، أمسية ثقافية متميزة أتاحت للجمهور فرصة اكتشاف مصر بصورة مختلفة، من خلال الحكايات الشخصية، والتكنولوجيا التفاعلية، والمطبخ المصري الأصيل، والموسيقى والفن.

بدأت الأمسية مع جو موريس ، المصرفي الأمريكي الذي امتد حبه وارتباطه بمصر لأكثر من ٣٠ عامًا، حيث تعرف الحضور على مصر من خلال عيون أمريكية وتجربة شخصية امتدت لثلاثة عقود من الارتباط بمصر وشعبها وثقافتها.

ثم خاض الحضور تجربة غامرة ومبتكرة حول رحلة العائلة المقدسة في مصر، قدمتها مصر مباركة، وجمعت بين التاريخ والروحانيات والتراث والتكنولوجيا، لتقدم جانبًا فريدًا من التراث المصري بأسلوب تفاعلي مميز.

واستمرت الرحلة المصرية من خلال المذاق والفن، حيث استمتع الحضور بأشهى الأطباق المصرية التي أعدتها بحب Sherin Kitchen، إلى جانب عرض مميز للرقص قدمه محمد على.

وكان من أبرز مفاجآت الأمسية السحب على تذكرة سفر مقدمة من مصر للطيران (EgyptAir)، ليحظى أحد ضيوف الأمسية بفرصة الانتقال من التعرف على مصر في واشنطن إلى السفر إليها واكتشافها بنفسه
